Characteristics of Grade
• AB/ F1F : Front face almost perfect, 1–2 small sound knots ≤ 5 mm allowed; back side with B-level defects; used for visible parts of furniture.
• Grade ВВ / No. 1 Common : Sound knots up to 10 mm allowed, minor color and texture variations; suitable for carcass furniture, doors, and panels.
• Rustic / Below No. 2 Common: Natural, “lively” look with cracks, knots > 20 mm, heartwood, strong contrast texture; popular in loft or country style

Kiln drying of wood is a high-tech and controlled process. Unlike natural drying, this method is significantly faster and guarantees a stable and uniformly dried material with an optimal carpentry moisture content of 8-12%.
