Pergo grows business at Home Depot
Pfleiderer announced a significant expansion of its North American laminate flooring business. The company unveiled plans to roll out the new Pergo Prestige™ collection at all The Home Depot retail locations in the U.S. in the second quarter of 2008. The successful product rollout is expected to increase Pergo sales within The Home Depot channel significantly.
The Pfleiderer Group started in fall 2007 a comprehensive new marketing program in North America in support of the Pergo brand which is targeting consumers and retail partners. The marketing campaign in combination with new designs and innovations continues to generate high interest in the Pergo Brand among consumers and key trade channels.
“We are increasing channel sales and market share in North America, despite difficult market conditions”, commented Hans H. Overdiek, Chief Executive Officer of Pfleiderer AG, on the laminate flooring business. “Orders of retail partners in North America are US $ 50 million higher compared to the same period last year”, stated the Pfleiderer CEO on the current order intake year to date.
